The first thing that hits you on entering the Blue Rooms is its size - its huge. Although impressive at first its the buildings size and layout that I think lets the club down so badly. You first enter into a large empty bar area with minimal seating and absolutely no atmosphere. Heading further into the club you find the main area with a large circular stage and pole in the middle. The problem here is the two seating areas are broken by the building strange shape, so watching the pole is difficult enough but trying to see which dancers are around and available is often impossible.

We visited on what would in any other club be a fairly busy night, but the Blue Rooms still seemed empty. The decor (or lack of it) doesn't help combined with some of the worst club lighting I seen. The club just lacks any kind of luxury or atmosphere. It was also untidy when we visited, an obvious drink spillage on a seat near us was still not cleaned by the time we left, many hours later.

The dancers? Well there was a fair selection of dancers working the night we visited but the quality was poor with no conversation and just the pushy 'do you want a dance?' circuits going on. The lap dancers take place in another large area full of private booths behind the stage. The first dance I had was actually very good, almost good enough to forgive the venue. Unfortunately the rest were not as good. I would hope we will revisit the Blue Rooms again at some stage soon to see if things have improved, until then I wouldn't recommend it, especially with the superior Wild Cats so close.
